Job Evaluation

The purpose of Job Evaluation is to determine the relative contribution made by each job in the organisation’s success. The base pay is designed based on this concept. The outcome is “ Job Hierarchy” which is the foundation for “Pay grades” and “Pay Ranges”.

The essence is “Equitable Pay” and ensures that no job is overpaid, which is very important from cost perspective.

At HR Quest our Goal will be to:

  • Understand the Jobs to be evaluated
  • Help in designing number of pay structures to be used, based on company’s input
  • Help select and apply most appropriate job evaluation methods.
  • Help create a pay structure with pay grades and pay ranges.
